Re-inventing freeze drying

GEA has investigated how freezer dryer operation is affected by water vapor flow and pressure losses in the cabinet, and by the efficiency of ice formation on condensers. This presentation will give some exclusive insight into their findings, and link to the prospect of a new generation of industrial freeze dryers that can offer significantly higher capacities, improved energy efficiency, better hygiene and lower operating costs.
