Omega 3 & 6 Oils (DHA/EPA/ARA)

Nu-Mega’s oils are naturally refined from high-quality sustainable sources, ensuring maximum purity. Our refining plants have been developed to serve critical markets such as infant formula and nutraceuticals which have very high regulatory standards. Tuna oil Our oils come from tuna in sustainable fishing areas where dolphin-safe catch methods are used, with no drift nets or gill nets. The oil is a by-product of tuna processing and canning, and is thus a value-added product stream. We use a natural, solvent-free process to produce a highly refined oil with a neutral taste that meets infant formula and pharmaceutical standards. It contains a minimum of 26% DHA and 35% total omega-3 fatty acids that are important for brain and eye development in infants, promote heart health and reduce inflammation. Algal oil Derived from sustainable algae using non-solvent extraction technology, Nu-Mega oil is also a great source of DHA omega-3 fatty acids. Our algal oil is naturally refined and contains a minimum of 40% DHA. It has an excellent sensory profile and is suitable for dietary supplements, general foods, plant-based foods and infant formula. Fungal oil Fungal oil contains a minimum 40% ARA, an omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid that is present in human breast milk.
