The Alpine Dual Mill ADM from Hosokawa Alpine is a flexible and energy-efficient impact-classifier mill designed for ultra-fine grinding. It offers three different classifier wheels to precisely tune the fineness to your product, achieving particle sizes previously only possible with jet mills. Its low pressure drop and optimized process make it highly efficient, while powerful ATP or ATP-NG classifier wheels deliver steep particle size distributions. The ADM’s grinding-classifying cycle uses air to transport material to the classifier wheel: undersized particles exit as finished product, while coarser particles are returned for further milling, ensuring maximum yield. The fineness can be adjusted dynamically - both via the grinding tool settings and by varying the classifier’s rotational speed. Built with pressure-shock-resistant and stainless-steel variants, plus easy-clean design, the ADM is ideal for food (e.g., sugar, proteins), chemical, and industrial applications. Available in multiple sizes, it reliably produces finest powder with high efficiency and flexibility.
