The Rotoplex RO is a legendary, heavy-duty cutting mill from Hosokawa Alpine, designed for the most demanding size-reduction tasks. Featuring a patented cross-scissor-cut rotor and a robust cast-iron housing, it delivers high cutting forces and maximum throughput - even in continuous operation. Available in power ranges from 15 to 500 kW, this mill is engineered to handle a wide variety of cuttable materials with ease. Its rugged construction ensures long-term reliability, while its design allows for easy cleaning and tool changeover via a removable cover. Stator knives can be used on all four sides, and rotor knives are reversible, maximizing service life. The machine is available in stainless-steel variants for food or high-purity applications. Typical applications include plastics (films, lumps, profiles), rubber, cable scrap, fibers, leather, paper, and other cuttable materials.
