The Hosokawa Alpine APC L and ARC K compactors are stainless-steel roller presses for dry granulation and briquetting in chemical, food, and pharmaceutical applications. The APC L is a compact, high-performance unit featuring a swing-arm design that enables roller changes in under five minutes, making it ideal for flexible, small to medium throughput production. It offers precise force control, optional WIP, ATEX, and integrated milling. The ARC K series provides higher capacities and an adjustable roller gap, with options such as roller cooling for improved process stability. Although cleaning takes longer due to its fixed frame, it supports significantly larger throughputs and robust process control. Both systems improve powder flow, density, and handling while ensuring hygienic and energy-efficient operation.
