Melatonin
Health Ingredients
Information
Melatonin (CAS No.: 73-31-4), a hormone secreted by the human pineal gland, primarily regulates the sleep-wake cycle. By activating melatonin receptors, it shortens sleep latency and alleviates jet lag and circadian rhythm sleep disorders. Its potent antioxidant capacity neutralizes free radicals (with twice the potency of Vitamin E), protecting cells from oxidative damage while enhancing immune function (e.g., boosting T-cell activity).
