It’s easily soluble in water, but insoluble in ethanol. 6、Usage: In food industry, it is used as agent for baking to avoid oxidation stain and as emulsifier in dairy product to prevent egg white from solidification. It is also used as emulsifier and chelating agent for solid drinks. 7、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer and a compound plastic woven bag or paper bag as outer layer.
