The National Food Institute (NFI) was established in 1996 through collaboration between government and private sectors to serve as a key organization for Thailand’s food industry development. Based on a TDRI study and in line with the Ministry of Industry’s policy, the cabinet approved NFI as an independent network institute under the Foundation for Industrial Development (FID), Ministry of Industry.
