This session introduces membrane separation technologies—including UF, NF, RO, MF, ED, and BPED—and their roles in the food and beverage industry.Attendees will explore how these technologies are used to separate, fractionate, concentrate, and purify components in alternative proteins, functional peptides, sweeteners, and beverages. Beyond processing, membranes support water sustainability by enabling reuse, recovering valuable products, and reducing the cost of achieving minimal liquid discharge (MLD) or zero liquid discharge (ZLD). Industrial cases illustrate how membrane systems enhance product quality, improve efficiency, and reduce resource consumption. This session is ideal for professionals seeking practical, scalable membrane solutions in food and beverage manufacturing.
